Challenge:
Classification society required MPI on turret attachment welds.
Solution:
Subseapartner mobilised a ACFM weld inspection spread together with a Light daughter craft dive spread. ACFM was a technical proposal from Subseapartner as no coating removal required, this was a 1st time use for the company.
Outcome:
Welds were inspected at all required locations.
