Real Results:
Re-Location of bend stiffener to DBSC.
Challenge:
Joint operation with IMR ROV to recover bend stiffener & re-connect to intermediate spool.
Solution:
Due to poor cathodic protection connection studs & bolts had corroded and broken. ROV recovered BS from hog bend at -120m and attached to hang off rigging. Divers installed new stud bolts, completed pull in & torque.
Outcome:
Riser bend stiffener re-instated.
